The Nodera API provides hourly historical and forecasted carbon intensity signals for electricity consumption at grid-substation level.
It enables corporate energy consumers to quantify, anticipate, and act on the carbon impact of electricity usage — whether for monitoring, reporting, or workload orchestration.
The API exposes normalized, time-indexed datasets at a fixed spatial and temporal resolution. Outputs are generated from deterministic pipelines, delivered under a stable, versioned schema with documented assumptions, enabling reproducible analyses and reliable integration into production and compliance workflows.
Access to the Nodera API is granted on a per-subscription basis. To subscribe, users must first contact Nodera to define the scope of access and the sites to be covered.
Each subscription is associated with one or more physical sites (addresses). For each site, the API
exposes the list of electrical substations supplying that location through the
locations endpoint.
Data availability depends on the subscription level. Depending on their access rights, users may retrieve historical data, forecasted data, or both, for the substations associated with their sites. Users only have access to locations and datasets explicitly included in their subscription.
